Stop Re-Keying Data Between Operating System and Your Title Systems
Native, two-way integration between Alphamax 3, Recording Express, and Operating System. One click. No re-keying.
Eliminate Duplicate Data Entry Across Your Workflow
Every line of code in Alphamax 3 and Recording Express is written by our Tucson-based engineering team - and built from the ground up to integrate natively with Operating System. There's no middleware, no third-party connectors, and no manual exports. Property information, legal descriptions, recording details, and documents move automatically between systems - no copy-paste, no re-typing, no switching between applications.
The result: files move through your workflow faster, recording rejections drop by 60%, and your staff spends less time on repetitive data entry and more time on the complex title work that actually needs their attention.
How the Integration Works
Search in Alphamax 3
Examiners search the title plant in Alphamax 3. Index data and source documents display side-by-side.
One-Click Transfer to Operating System
Property data transfers directly into the open Operating System file with a single click - no copy-paste, no re-entry.
Submit for Recording
Recording Express submits documents directly to county recorders from within Operating System.
Automatic Return
Recorded documents and recording numbers return to Operating System automatically - no manual filing.
The Data Re-Entry Problem
Without native integration, your staff enters the same information multiple times on every file:
Order opens in Operating System
- Property address, parcel number, legal description
- Buyer, seller, and lender information
- Transaction details and special instructions
Then re-typed into the title plant software
- Search the same property manually
- Copy-paste the address and legal description
- Re-enter vesting information from search results
Then re-typed into the recording system
- Upload documents from Operating System
- Re-enter property details for county submission
- Manually download recorded documents and upload them back into the file
- Type recording numbers for invoicing
That duplicate entry adds up across every search, every recording, and every closing - and it's time your staff could spend on the title work that requires real expertise.
Manual Entry Creates Costly Errors
Every time staff re-key information, errors compound:
Typos in legal descriptions
- Recording rejections from county recorders
- Title exceptions requiring curative work
- Delayed closings waiting for corrected documents
Mismatched parcel numbers
- Searches pull the wrong property information
- Recording submissions route to the incorrect parcel
- Post-closing discovery requiring policy amendments
Lost documents
- Recorded instruments saved to the wrong file
- Missing images delay policy issuance
- Staff time wasted searching for misfiled documents
Every recording rejection means fees, rework, and a delayed closing - and those costs multiply across dozens or hundreds of files a year. Native integration removes the re-keying step that causes most of them.
Three Integrations, One Workflow
Alphamax 3 ↔ Operating System
One-click title searches. The examiner opens a property order in Operating System and clicks "Search in Alphamax" - Alphamax 3 launches automatically with the property address, parcel number, legal description, and buyer/seller names pre-filled. When the search is complete, current vesting, formatted legal descriptions, open liens, and exception documents flow back into the Operating System commitment with a single click - no switching applications, no copy-paste, no transcription errors.
Recording Express ↔ Operating System
Automated document flow. Closers send finalized closing documents from Operating System to Recording Express as a complete package - documents, pre-populated property information, calculated county fees, and recording instructions included. Once the county records and returns stamped copies, Recording Express automatically captures the recording numbers, dates, and document images, and files them into the correct Operating System order - no downloading, renaming, or manual entry required.
Recon Express ↔ Operating System
Behind-the-scenes release tracking. When an Operating System file includes payoff information for an existing lien, Recon Express begins monitoring for the recorded release automatically. Once the release is recorded at the county, Recon Express captures the document, files it into the Operating System order, and updates the file timeline - so staff can see current release status without leaving Operating System or checking county websites manually.
Who Benefits Most from Operating System Integration
Independent Title Agencies
Eliminate duplicate-entry workload without adding staff, and scale operations during volume spikes without hiring.
Multi-State Title Operations
Standardize workflows across offices and states, and reduce training complexity for new staff.
High-Volume Refinance Operations
Process a surge in volume during refi booms with your existing team, using automated data flow instead of temporary hires.
Settlement Companies
Connect settlement and title departments with a unified data model - no information silos between escrow and examination.
Pricing & Next Steps
Operating System integration is included with Alphamax 3 and Recording Express subscriptions at no additional charge. Setup and configuration are included as part of the initial implementation.
What you need:
- An active Operating System license (version 4.0 or newer)
- An Alphamax 3 subscription for title plant integration
- A Recording Express subscription for eRecording integration
- A Recon Express subscription for release tracking integration (optional)
